This book has just won the 2020 Supreme Award at the New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults - the Margaret Mahy Book of the Year. Selina Tusitala Marsh has written and illustrated it in her own inspiring, all-encompassing and creative style.

"The book is good, it's about a girl with crazy hair and how being different is a good thing. It can happen, you know. The drawings are detailed and the girl turns out to be pretty clever. I think it's a book for seven to eleven-year olds. Less than that and they would be too young to follow it. I definitely like it."

Mophead is available in paperback at local bookshops and as an eBook from Amazon.
