Cloud Ink Press is pleased to announce the next submission period is now open and will close on 10 December 2019. We invite graduates of the Auckland University of Technology Masters of Creative Writing Programme to submit work. We hope to widen the scope of submissions in the future, but present resources mean we still need to restrict submissions to alumni only.
In order to assist us in processing your manuscript, before you submit please ensure that (a) the manuscript has been assessed or critiqued to ensure the structure is sound and (b) the manuscript has been proofread.
To make a submission, send a synopsis of the work and the full manuscript to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please present your submission in the following format:
12 point Times New Roman
1.5 line spacing
Provide a two-page (maximum) synopsis which summarises the plot, main characters, themes, word count and intended audience of your manuscript. Also a paragraph about yourself and your writing.
Please also address these points in your submission:
To what level and in what way has your work been assessed or critiqued?
Please indicate how you might see yourself being involved in the work of our press.
Cloud Ink Press is a collective and all work for the press is voluntary. Cloud Ink has published ten works in the three years we have been in existence. We are looking to publish a variety of genres and enjoy different challenges.
