A real thriller, with crime, drugs, violence and murder and more serious and sad undertones of teenagers gone astray.

The story is about Zoe Haywood's return to her home town after the death of her estranged mother, a loved school counsellor, who took her own life. Through notebooks hidden by her mother, and with the help of a former friend and troubled teen, Faith, she investigates the disappearance and maybe abduction of several young girls. The reader is then taken in by an intriguing web of deception leading back to Auckland and the underworld of drugs. The author writes a gripping story with confidence as her protagonist goes through the many twists and turns.

This is Crutchley's second novel. Her third, The Murder Club, was published in 2020.

No One Can Hear You is available in paperback at local bookshops and as a ebook from Amazon.
